Renowned anime YouTuber Garnt "Gigguk" Maneetapho announced on the recently ended Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles, California, that his short anime film titled "Bâan -The Boundaries of Adulthood-" is set to hit Tokyo theatres on August 24. The short film will also appear on Garnt's YouTube channel after its theatrical run, along with some behind-the-scenes footage.

According to Maneetapho, "Bâan" will be a story of two people navigating a wholly unfamiliar world, searching for a place where they truly belong. Kadokawa's GeeXProductions is stated to produce the movie with Yoshimitsu Ohashi in the director's chair and Studio Daisy being the main animation studio.

As of this time, only three voice talents have been announced to partake in the project. Shouya Ishige is announced to take the role of Arai Daichi. Haruna Mikawa would take the role of Rinrada Ratchamanee for the Japanese dub, while Sydney Ann "Sydsnap" Poinewaz would be the voice of Rinrada for the English dub.

Maneetapho released the trailer for the film on July 4, 2025.
