Yet more trailer highlights from the weekend

Written by Ross Locksley on 09 Jun 2025

It's been a busy few days as the gaming industry refuses to spread out its wares, leaving us to dive into all the trailers and find the ones we think are most interesting. Below are four more games you might want to take note of:

Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers

Those of us who owned a Super Nintendo way back when might remember this game by its original name; Rival Turf. Now the game is coming back courtesy of Clear River games, with 6 fighters to choose from, you'll make your way through the streets and beat everything you see to a bloody mess.

The game has launched a demo today on Steam and will be featured as part of Steam's Next Fest from June 9th - 16th:

Persona 4: Revival

While this game's development was blown somewhat by the previous voice actors lamenting that they weren't returning on social media, it's no less of a thrill to see some actual game footage from this masterful series of RPG's. For many, Persona 4 was an entry to the series, the mix of life-management, mystery and dungeon crawling making an unforgettable introduction to the world of Persona. The game will be headed to Xbox Series X|S (including cloud and PC), Steam, and Playstation 5.

13Z: The Zodiac Trials

A hack and slash roguelike that draws inspiration from Eastern mythology, allowing you to play as animal spirits battling demons and teh twelve Zodiac guardians in a bid to become the 13th Guardian. The graphics are colourful and nicely stylised - what's more, you can request to join the playtest on Steam for a limited time.

Starlight Re:Volver

Bright, colourful and with a talented dev team that includes former Capcom, Wayforward and Riot Games staffers, Starlight Re:Volver is a bit of a head-turner. The game promises reality smashing anime-inspired gameplay with co-op and roguelite elements all set in a dreamlike setting. Inspired by the likes of Naoka Takeuchi and Rumiko Takahashi, the game is touted as a love letter to 90's games and anime that the Pahdo Labs team grew up with. Check out the demo now on Steam.
