The Girl Who Leapt Through Time coming to UK Cinemas

Written by Ross Locksley on 25 Jun 2025

To celebrate the works of award-winning film-maker Mamoru Hosoda, three of his films will be shown in UK cinemas throughout the Summer season.

The first of these is his earliest film, an adaptation of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, the classic Japanese science fiction novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui. The film will be showing across the country on the 6th and 8th July.

This will be followed by screenings of SUMMER WARS, which will screen on the 3rd and 5th of August.

Finally, Wolf Children will be shown on August 17th and 19th.

Each film is slated for a Collector's Edition later this year from Anime Ltd.
