Super Robot Wars Y announcement trailer

The famed Super Robot Wars series is set for another entry in 2025! The grid-based tactical battle game draws from the most popular mecha series in Japan allowing you to mix and match all your favourites to make your dream squad of giant robot warriors!

Series announced so far include:

  • Combattler V
  • Aura Battler Dunbine
  • Mobile Fighter G Gundam
  • Majestic Prince
  • Code Geass

New to consoles:

  • Macross Delta The Movie: Passionate Walkure
  • Getter Robo Arc

New to the series:

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury

The game will also feature brand new series original mecha designs by M ganzy (Star Ocean: The Last Hope) and character designs courtesy of Wataru Watanabe (Yowamushi Pedal).

No doubt more series will be announced as the launch window narrows, but for now, enjoy the majestic animation that accompanies the attack scenes in the game with the new announcement trailer:
