Sonic 3 trailer lands at last!

Written by Ross Locksley on 27 Aug 2024

SEGA's spikey blue mascot finally drops the trailer for his latest outing, with all the major cast returning, plus Keanu Reeves supplying the menacing voice of fan favourite world-ending bad-hog, Shadow!

A key character in the Sonic mythos since Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast, it's a logical choice for antagonist after Knuckles and Robotnik have had their turns in the spotlight. There's no signs of any other Morbians joining the film, but there may be some surprises waiting in the theatre.

The trailer is almost 3 minutes long and shows us that Robotnik is licking his wounds and has rather let himself go, but if Team Sonic is going to stop this one-hedgehog armaggeddon, he's going to have to take the help where he can get it...

The previous films have enjoyed a lot of fan support and critical acclaim, this third film looks to add more of the same winning formula. My daughter loves Sonic so I'll be taking her to this one!
