Seven Seas has announced 6 new manga and light novel titles for the new year - details below:

Summer Ghost (LN & Manga)

The light novel and manga Summer Ghost by Otsuichi, loundraw, and Yoshi Inomi—both based on the critically acclaimed animated short film about three high schoolers’ supernatural coming-of-age. The entire two-volume manga series will be released in English in one omnibus edition.

There’s an urban legend that claims the ghost of a young woman will appear if you set off fireworks in a certain abandoned airport. Three high school students are united by their shared desire to meet this ghost–and each of them is close to death. What happens when they come together one fateful summer night as the boundary between life and death grows thin?

Summer Ghost (Light Novel) will be released for the first time in North America in August 2023 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the book available in print and on digital platforms in a single large-trim edition as part of Seven Seas’ Airship imprint.

Summer Ghost: The Complete Manga Collection will be released for the first time in North America in August 2023 for $20.99 USA / $27.99 CAN, with the book available in print and on digital platforms in an omnibus edition.

365 Days to the Wedding

A sweet “fake engagement” romance about quiet coworkers by the creator of The World God Only Knows—inspired the live-action drama Map for The Wedding!

Takuya and Rika are coworkers in a travel agency in Tokyo. They’re both single, but they don’t mind, since they’re introverts with fulfilling lives at home. Unfortunately, now their job is looking to staff an office in Siberia, and non-married employees are the first to be considered. Rika is desperate to avoid the transfer and goes to Takuya with an idea: if they pretend they’re getting married in a year, they can stay in Tokyo. The only problem is the two of them barely know each other! If these two quiet coworkers “fake” a relationship, will it turn into something real?

365 Days to the Wedding Vol. 1 will be released for the first time in North America in November 2023 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN, with the series available in single volume editions.

Anyhow, the Rabbit Is Infatuated with the Puppy

A sweet and Mature-rated Boys’ Love romance between an introverted salaryman and the young man he meets in an MMO game!

Usagi Akira is a twenty-five-year-old introverted office worker who lives for two things: shojo manga and the spare moments when he can log into his favorite MMO, Tail Earth. There, his avatar is a beautiful bunny girl, and he’s able to go on adventures with the charming wolf-boy Gakuto. When Gakuto asks if Akira wants to meet up IRL for the Tail Earth fan con, Akira agrees. Sparks fly between the two, despite neither of them being quite what the other expected, and they soon fall hard for each other and decide to date! They don’t have much experience when it comes to romance, but this gamer couple is eager to figure it out together.

Anyhow, the Rabbit Is Infatuated with the Puppy will be released for the first time in North America in November 2023 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the book available in print and on digital platforms in a single volume edition as part of the Seven Seas BL label (Boys’ Love titles).

Modern Dungeon Capture Starting with Broken Skills (LN & Manga)

In this fantasy adventure tale, an office worker finally escapes the daily grind…when dungeons appear on Earth and he’s saved by a swordswoman and a pixie!

Everyone with a dead-end job sometimes wishes for something to come swallow up their workplace…and that’s exactly what happens to Mizuki Ryosuke. Monster-infested dungeons have appeared all over the world, but he’s saved from his collapsing office by a swordswoman and a pixie. Along the way, Mizuki picks up an item that allows him to pass overpowered skills to other people—and before he realizes it, Mizuki is in high demand himself!

Modern Dungeon Capture Starting with Broken Skills (Light Novel) Vol. 1 will be released for the first time in North America in January 2024 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the series available in print and (early) on digital platforms in single large-trim editions as part of Seven Seas’ Airship imprint.

Modern Dungeon Capture Starting with Broken Skills (Manga) Vol. 1 will be released for the first time in North America in January 2024 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN, with the series available in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions.
