MVM announce early 2026 review slate

Catgirls, vampires, and spies in a mix of classic and new series

MVM have announced via X that they've fixed their new slate of releases for early next year, with a mix of classic licenses and new titles. The series announced are:

  • Tokyo Mew Mew S1 & S2
  • Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess
  • Spy Classroom S1 & S2
  • Vermeil in Gold
  • Lycoris Recoil

No details as yet of release dates or format as these are just license announcements, but we've rounded up a bit about each to give you an idea of what's coming.

Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess

Based on a Light Novel series about a 15 year old vampire, Komari lives in seclusion, tormented by her inability to drink blood despite being a vampire, her inability to use magic, her inability to exercise and her inability to grow.

 

Tokyo Mew Mew

Hailing from 2002, the Tokyo Mew Mew anime adapts the popular manga by Mai Ikumi and Reiko Yoshida.  It follows five girls infused with the DNA of endangered animals, the girls can use their magical powers to transform into Mew Mew magical girls and protect the Earth from alien invasion!
