Japanese musician Sayuri passes aged 28

We've been experiencing a lot of lost talent over the last 12 months, but even so, losing musician Sayuri at the age of 28 is a shock.

The singer is well known by anime fans for her work on Scum's Wish, Lycoris Recoil, Erased, Eden's Zero and My Hero Academia season 4. Despite battling a chronic illness, she remained committed to and passionate about her music.

Our thoughts go out to the husband she leaves behind, and her family.

Sayuri's official Youtube channel hosts many of her amazing music videos, and we'd encourage a listen so her work lives on.
