Akira comes to IMAX in 4K

<p>Manga Entertainment bring the Sci Fi Classic to the biggest screen!</p>

Manga Entertainment have announced plans to release Akira on 4K in IMAX cinemas across the UK.

A dedicated website has been launched, Akira4K.co.uk where you can sign up for alerts and ticket sale information.

Synopsis:
Neo-Tokyo, 2019. The city is being rebuilt post World War III. Kaneda and Tetsuo, two high school drop outs, stumble on a secret government project to develop new weapons - telekinetic humans. Tetsuo learns of the existence of his 'peer', Akira, the project's most powerful subject, and determines to challenge him...
